Mechanical and process works on the 1915 Çanakkale Bridge, the longest suspension bridge in the world, carried out from marine platforms and from the tower foundations on shore.
Work on the crossing was staged from pontoons and jack-up platforms, which meant every lift, every pipe run and every connection had to be planned around marine access, weather windows and the main contractor’s own programme.
Our scope covered process and service piping with its valve groups, pumping and distribution equipment, and the mechanical installations serving the tower foundation and anchorage works.
